Which car models can I book?
You can book a wide range of car models with us. We offer everything from
compact city cars to spacious family cars, luxurious SUVs, and vans. To see a
complete list of available models, please visit our website.
The car won't start, what should I do?
* Start by ensuring that you have Bluetooth connectivity.
* Then swipe the app away from your phone, log out, and log back in.
* Press “Låsa” and “Låsa upp” in the app.
* When the car is running, “READY” will appear on the dashboard, and you can
drive off.
* If, against all odds, it doesn’t work, contact us here..
The car was dirty when I picked it up, what should I do?
If the car is dirty enough that it needs to be addressed immediately, contact us
here.
If it’s not as urgent, please feel free to leave a review when you have
completed your booking, and we will check and clean the car as soon as possible.

What should I do if I can't find the car?
First, check the description in the app under "More about KINTO location." If
you still can't find it, contact us here and we will assist you.
What should I do if I forgot something in the car?
If you have forgotten something in the car and your still nearby, call us 010
-179 96 00, and we can open the car immediately, and we will help you retrieve
your belongings.
Otherwise, you can always contact us here.
How do I find my car/KINTO location?
You can find instructions in the app on how to get to the KINTO location. If, by
any chance, you can't find it, feel free to contact us here.
What should I do if the fuel card is missing?
Start by checking the glove compartment and the center console. If you can't
find it, please contact us here. If you need to refuel, you can make an expense
and then email us the receipt, and we will reimburse you.
Why is it flashing in the windshield?
Relax, everything is in order. It's just our telematics system showing its
status. 😊
Do you have car seats?
No, unfortunately we do not have car seats/ highchairs in the cars.
What happens if I park the car in a location other than the KINTO spot?
If you park the car in a location other than the KINTO spot, regular parking
rules apply, just as if it were your own car. Make sure to follow local parking
regulations to avoid fines or other issues.
Where should the car seats be placed?
For the children's safety, the car seat should always be placed in the back
seat. Our passenger cars are equipped with Isofix mounts for easy and secure
installation.
Where can I find the code for the fuel card?
You can find the code for the fuel card in your app under the ongoing booking.
Where can I find the car specifications?
You can find the car specifications for our vehicles both in the app and on our
website. To view the specifications, you will find detailed information about
each car model here.
Do your cars have cruise control?
Yes, our cars are equipped with cruise control. You can easily set the speed
using the controls on the right side of the steering wheel.
Do you have Isofix in the cars?
Yes, Isofix anchors are located in the back seat for easy and secure
installation of car seats.
Why do you have hybrid cars?
With our electric hybrids, customers don't have to worry about charging. These
vehicles can drive up to 50% of the driving time solely on electricity, making
them both practical and environmentally friendly.

Do I need to assess the damage to the car?
Before driving away, you should always check for any unregistered damages on the
car. Click on “Skada” in the app and follow the instructions to report any
damages. If damages are not reported, you may be considered responsible.
FYI - even smell of smoke and dirty interior is considered as a damage so please
report these aswell.
Is there a parking disc in the cars?
All KINTO cars are equipped with a parking disc that is affixed to the bottom
left of the car's windshield.
Do I have to clean the car before I return it?
We appreciate it if you leave the car in the same condition you would like to
find it. Please remove any loose trash from the car, and we will take care of
the rest.
Please be aware that there is an additional fee if we need to sanistize the
vechicle after your rental. More information about our additional fees you'll
find in our terms and conditions.
Which countries do your fuel cards work in?
Our fuel cards can be used at all Circle K, Ingo, Ionity, and MER stations
within the Nordic region. If you travel outside the Nordic region, it is
important to keep the original receipt in order to get reimbursed for any
expenses you may incur.
KINTO Share - fuel is included, save the receipt
KINTO Flex - you can refuel with our card within the Nordic region; outside, you
need to use your own payment card
Why is there a "beeping" sound in the car?
You can rest assured, there is nothing wrong with the car - it is simply
complying with the EU's new requirements for speed warning systems.
The EU has a new regulation that requires newly manufactured cars to be equipped
with a speed warning system, which informs the driver when the speed limit is
exceeded.
This applies to all new cars - from all car manufacturers - and thus also to
newly manufactured cars that you book with us at KINTO.
We understand that the "beep" can be perceived as annoying, but it is important
to remember the main purpose - your safety and the safety of your fellow road
users.
Do your cars have a tow bar?
Our car model, the Toyota RAV4, has a towbar. You can find more information
about our RAV4 here.
How do I get the car key?
To drive our KINTO cars, you don't need a physical key. You have a digital key
in the app that activates just before your booking starts.
The car was under half a tank when I picked it up, what should I do?
Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that customers do not follow our guidelines
regarding refueling. To improve the booking experience, we encourage all our
customers to take responsibility and return the car with at least half a tank.
Where can I refuel the car?
In the center console of our cars, there is a Circle- K fuel card that works at
all Circle K stations. The card can also be used at all MER-stations and Ionity
for charging electric vehicles.
How do I get into the parking lot where I booked the car?
When you have booked a car via our app, you will receive detailed instructions
on how to enter and exit the garage or the closed parking area. These
instructions can be found both in your booking confirmation and in the app under
“My Booking.” For more information about specific KINTO locations, please see
the image below.
Can I disconnect the airbag in the car?
No, the airbag should always be connected for everyone's safety. Disconnecting
the airbag can jeopardize the safety of both the driver and passengers.
Can I drive the car abroad?
Absolutely, but you need a written approval from us, and there is an additional
cost of 1500SEK per booking. You can easily apply for a certificate here.

Do you have cars with roof racks or roof boxes?
No, unfortunately, we do not have any cars with roof racks or roof boxes. If you
want to arrange this yourself, we recommend contacting the nearest Toyota dealer
to see which roof rack fits the specific car you want to rent.
How do I know which car I have booked?
You can see which car model you have booked and its location in the app or in
your booking confirmation. The registration number of the car is displayed in
the app before the booking starts.
Does the car have summer tires?
In the spring, we switch to summer tires on all our cars according to the law
and current weather conditions. Unfortunately, we cannot specify a specific date
for when we change the tires since it depends on the weather.
Do you have manual transmission cars?
No - all our car models are automatic.
Can I smoke in the car?
No, smoking is prohibited in our cars. According to our General Terms, you as a
customer may be charged for smoke remediation if you violate this rule.
Can I park my private car in the KINTO space while I am using a KINTO car?
No, unfortunately not. If you park your private car in the KINTO space, you risk
getting a parking ticket.
How do I connect my phone to the car?
You can connect your phone to the car via Bluetooth or with the USB cable that
is available in the car. This way, you can use your mobile apps directly from
the car's system.
There are two different cables, one for iPhone and one for Android, that you
must plug into the main cable for your phone's apps to work on the screen.
Does every RAV4 have a towbar?
Yes. All our RAV4s have a towbar.
What should I do if the KINTO spot is occupied?
If the KINTO spot is occupied, please contact our support at 010-179 96 00. They
will guide you to the nearest available spot or help you arrange valid parking.
Please note that you must follow the parking regulations; otherwise, you may be
liable to pay a parking fine if your car is parked in an invalid or illegal
spot.
How do I start the car?
To start the car, press down on the brake pedal and then press the start button.
When the car shows “READY,” it is on and you can drive away. Please note that
most of our cars are hybrids and therefore make less noise when the engine
starts.
Do you have any electric cars?
Absolutely! Our car models that run entirely on electricity are the bZ4X and our
van Proace Electric.

Does electricity come included when I rent an electric car?
All our electric cars have a card in the center console that you can use to
charge the car for free at all Circle K, Ionity, and MER stations. The
electricity is also included at our stations, and you can charge the car as much
as you want during your rental period.
If you want to charge the car at another location, you will be reimbursed 5 kr
per kWh upon presentation of a complete receipt. Do you need to submit an

Are there snow brushes and ice scrapers in the cars?
Yes, in all cars there should be both a snow brush and an ice scraper. If you
can't find the snow brush, please take a look in the trunk, as we know from
experience that it can sometimes "grow legs and walk away." 😊
If you don't find it after all, please report it as a "damage" in the app and
we'll see to it as soon as posible.
How far can I drive with a fully charged electric car?
There are various factors that affect the range of an electric car, including
temperature, driving style, road conditions, and traffic. With the Toyota bZ4X,
you can drive up to 415 km and with Proace Electric, the range can vary
depending on the model and driving conditions, but it can reach up to about 330
km on a full charge.
Is it allowed to bring pets in the car?
Yes! In our Corolla TS, you can bring pets with you. You are responsible for
ensuring that the animal is in a cage throughout the journey and that the cage
is securely fastened for both the animal and fellow passengers. Before you end
your trip, please make sure that the car is clean and pleasant for the next
user.
Please note that careless use and littering may incur charges for cleaning
according to our regulations.

How does Apple CarPlay work?
1. Connection: Check that the cable is correctly connected from the USB port in
the car to your mobile cable and adapter. Depending on whether you have an
iPhone or Android, select the correct port.
2. Approval: Make sure you have approved the use of Apple CarPlay or Android
Auto in the car. Once this is done, you can use apps from your phone, such
as Google Maps, Spotify, and Waze.
3. Troubleshooting: If the cable is not working or is loose, you can use your
own cable to connect.
4. Wireless Connection: For newer car models, there is the option to connect
Apple CarPlay or Android Auto wirelessly, without using a cable.
Where do I return the car?
When you return the car, always park it in the same KINTO spot where you picked
it up. You are of course allowed to use the car's designated KINTO spot during
your booking (if it is shorter than 22 days).
If the KINTO spot is occupied, call our support at 010-179 96 00 for assistance.
Please note that you are responsible for parking the car in a legal spot and
that parking fees have been paid.
When do you switch to winter tires?
In the fall, we switch to winter tires on all our cars according to the law and
current winter conditions. Unfortunately, we cannot specify a specific date for
the tire change, but you can always contact us if you need to know what type of
tires a car has.
NOTE! Our cars are equipped with stud-free winter tires.
I need to extend my booking, how do I do that?
You can easily extend your booking in the app. The conditions for an extension
are that the car is available during the desired time and that you have enough
money on your card.
Where is the fuel cap located on the car?
Below you can see where the button for the fuel cap is located for each car

What happens if the battery on a plug-in hybrid runs out?
If the battery runs out in the car, it is of course fine to continue driving on
the gasoline engine. The difference now is that it is no longer powered by
electricity.
How do I adjust the car seat?
All driver seats are controlled on the left side, both electric seats and metal
levers. For manual adjustment, there is a metal lever under the seat for moving
it forward and backward.
Can I practice driving in a KINTO car?
Of course!
The person you are practicing driving with needs to be connected to KINTO.
Please also note that all our cars are automatic.
How do I lock/unlock the car?
To lock or unlock the car during your booking, click on “Lås/Lås upp” in the
app. Remember that you must be near the car to be able to lock and unlock it.
What does and costs self-deductible elimination?
When you rent a car from us, we offer an insurance that eliminates your
deductible in case of damage, meaning you do not have to pay any deductible if
something happens and the rental car is damaged.
The prices are listed below:
1 hour = 15 kr
1 day = 180 kr
3 days = 360 kr
1 week = 900 kr
1 month = 3600 kr
Which type of fuel should I use?
Here is an overview of which fuel type you should use for our different car
models:
* Yaris: Unleaded 95 petrol
* Corolla: Unleaded 95 petrol
* RAV4: Unleaded 95 petrol
* Corolla Cross: Unleaded 95 petrol
* Proace: Diesel
* Mirai: Hydrogen
How do I refuel the car?
All KINTO cars are equipped with a fuel card located in the center console. This
card is valid at Circle K, Ingo, Ionity, and MER stations. Use the fuel card
when you need to refuel during your booking. The code for the fuel card can be
found in the app once your booking has been activated.
To be fair to the next customer, we encourage all our customers to always refuel
the car before returning it.
I have a booking but can't get into the car, what should I do?
* Start by checking the light in the left corner of the windshield. It should
be green.
* Then try pressing “Låsa och låsa upp” the car in the app.
* Sometimes it can also help to log in and out of the app.
* Remember that you can only unlock the car when you have an active booking, a
good connection, and are close to the car.
* If it still doesn't work, contact us here and we will assist you. A tip is
also to allow location information while using the app.
Do you have navigation in the cars?
You can use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in the car. Connect your mobile with
the cable that is available in the car. Keep in mind that there are two
different cables, one for iPhone and one for Android, which you must connect to
the main cable for your phone's apps to work on the screen.
In newer models, you can use both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. To
connect wirelessly, follow these steps:
1. Activate Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your mobile.
2. Go to the car's infotainment system and select Apple CarPlay or Android
Auto.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your mobile with the car.
Once the connection is complete, you can use navigation services like Waze or
Google Maps directly from the car's screen.
The TPMS light is on, what should I do?
If the TPMS light is on, follow these steps:
1. Yellow light: No worries, you can continue driving the car. Check that the
tire pressure is at 2.5 bar per tire.
2. Red light: Stop the car immediately and check the tires.
Our cars are serviced and checked continuously, but there are several factors
that can cause the TPMS light to warn, such as if the car has been stationary in
the cold for an extended period or right after a tire change. Need help? Contact

Are all cars included in my membership?
Yes indeed, good, right! Here you can find all the cars you can choose from.
I have had an accident/collided with the car, what should I do?
Accidents should be reported immediately, and you can do this in the app by
clicking on the "Skada" button. If the accident needs assistance please contact
us, 010- 179 96 00, and we'll help you further.
If I need to refill the windshield washer fluid, can I use the bränslekortet and how do I do that?
If you need to refill your windshield washer fluid, please send us the receipt
and we will reimburse your expense.

I cannot complete my booking?
To ensure that you can complete your booking correctly, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you are parked within the KINTO area.
2. Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on.
3. Check that you have a good connection.
4. Make sure all doors are closed.
5. Allow location information for the KINTO app.
If you are still having trouble completing your booking, call support and we
will assist you.
Do you have transport vehicles / vans / moving trucks?
Yes. In our fleet, we have Toyota Proace and Toyota Proace electric. Would you

Do you have diesel cars?
Yes. Our car model Toyota Proace is a diesel car.
Do I need to refuel the car?
Yes. If the vehicle is powered by gasoline or diesel, it must always be returned
with at least half a tank. Electric vehicles should be returned charged to at
least 10%.
If the vehicle is returned with a lower fuel level or charging level than agreed
upon, the user will be charged an additional fee.
How do I turn off the car?
* Put the gear shift in "P" (park)
* Press down the brake pedal and push the car's start button.
* Make sure the handbrake is engaged.
Do I have to return the car to the same KINTO location where I picked it up?
Yes, the car must always be returned to the same KINTO location where it was
picked up. If the location is occupied by another vehicle, please contact our
support (010 -179 96 00). They will guide you to the nearest KINTO location or
help you register a valid parking.
Please note that you must follow the parking rules at the location; otherwise,
you may be liable to pay any parking fines.
