How does Apple CarPlay work?

  1. Connection: Check that the cable is correctly connected from the USB port in the car to your mobile cable and adapter. Depending on whether you have an iPhone or Android, select the correct port.

  2. Approval: Make sure you have approved the use of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in the car. Once this is done, you can use apps from your phone, such as Google Maps, Spotify, and Waze.

  4. Wireless Connection: For newer car models, there is the option to connect Apple CarPlay or Android Auto wirelessly, without using a cable.
